Lift Up Tucson is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals raise themselves out of poverty and into successful careers. We believe that with the right support and resources, anyone can overcome the challenges of poverty and achieve their dreams.
Our programs are designed to provide individuals with the support they need to succeed.
We understand that many povered individuals in poverty face many challenges, such as lack of education, training, childcare, transportation, and business apparel. This is why Lift Up steps in to provide different assistance programs to destroy these barriers while individuals secure their successful careers.

Lift Up is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals raise themselves out of poverty and into successful careers. We are an Arizona QCO which means donations may qualify to receive a dollar for dollar tax credit (QCO code 22500)
The maximum QCO credit amount for 2023:
$421 single, married filing separate or head of household; $841 married filing joint.
Statistical Data
In 2020, the poverty rate in the United States was 9.2%, which equates to 34.0 million people living in poverty.
Poverty rates are highest for families headed by single women, with rates of 26.2% for families with children under 18 years old.
In 2020, the poverty rate for African Americans was 19.5%, for Hispanics it was 15.8%, and for non-Hispanic Whites it was 6.6%.
